2012 Spring Conference

April 16-19, 2012

Ocala, FL

 

Conference Program

 

The Florida Chapter of The Wildlife Society in conjunction with the Florida Exotic Pest Plant Council will hold their 2012 Spring Conference during April 16-19, 2012 at the Ocala Hilton, 3600 SW 36th Ave, Ocala, FL.  Rooms will cost $99 per night with a valid tax exempt certificate.  If you are a Federal employee, rooms will cost $79 per night with a valid ID and tax exempt certificate.  You can make reservations by calling (352) 854-1400 and asking for the Florida Wildlife Society-FLEPPC group rate.  Our room block will be held until March 30, 2012, so make your room reservations early!

 

The Plenary Session theme for this year's conference will be "Invasion of the Habitat Snatchers: Wildlife Invades!".  The conference will also feature symposium, oral presentations, and a poster session.  Field trips, workshops, and continuing education credits will also be offered.  A beast feast, concert, awards ceremony, and banquet dinner will be fun social highlights as well.  More details are provided on the FLTWS website at: http://www.fltws.org/STD2012SpringConference.php
