The 2025 conference theme is:
"From Wetlands to Pine Forests: Conserving Florida’s Diverse Habitats for Future Generations"
The objective of this topic is to highlight Florida’s range of ecosystems and the need for habitat conservation and corridors across different environments.
The Symposium will take place on Day 1, April 16th. This year's topic will be: "The Role of Hydrological Restoration in Reversing Habitat Loss for Aquatic and Terrestrial Species" and will focus on how restoring natural water flows can benefit both aquatic and surrounding terrestrial wildlife.
During the conference, you can expect our Spring Business Meeting, Plenary Session, Field Trips, Break-Out and Technical Sessions on related topics, Keynote Speakers, Networking Socials, fun Field Trips, a catered Banquet and Awards Ceremony, Poster Sessions, a Silent Auction, and more! The conference will be held at the historic Hotel Duval in central Tallahassee, close proximity to the airport, Capitol Building, and Florida State University campus. We encourage all our members - both student and professional - to attend.
