Description of duties: Incumbent is responsible for day to day operations on the Everglades and Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Areas located in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties for the Wildlife and Habitat Management section within the Division of Habitat and Species Conservation. Specific duties include contract oversight and participation in hydrologic and vegetative restoration programs, conducting wildlife surveys, assisting with the development and implementation of budgets and annual operational plans, assisting with the development and promotion of both hunting and non-hunting public use programs, and assistance with setting management and restoration objectives consistent with agency and division directives.
