Description of duties:   Plan, develop and implement wildlife management programs on the Big Cypress Wildlife Management Area in coordination with the National Park Service. Prepare annual work plans, quarterly and annual progress reports. Manage and monitor public use on the area. Conduct population surveys of game, non-game, threatened and endangered wildlife species. Maintain equipment in a safe and usable condition. Conduct various habitat management practices including prescribed burning. Manages human-bear conflicts.  Regularly works independently in the field.
