Marsha earned her BS in biology from Shorter College in Rome, Georgia, and her MS in wildlife ecology and management from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. After graduate school, Marsha moved to Florida and began working as a wildlife biologist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, where she has been for the past 8 years.  She is currently a District Biologist, overseeing wildlife and habitat management activities on several wildlife management areas in the Everglades and south Florida. She is a Certified Wildlife Biologist through TWS, and has been active in TWS since 2003.  She was a participant in TWS's Leadership Institute in 2007.  Marsha has been involved with the Florida Chapter of TWS since moving to Florida, and currently serves on the FLTWS Board as Treasurer. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
