Student Chapter President - Lauren N. Watine
Lauren N. Watine is a senior at the University of Florida. In May 2014 she will graduate with her BS in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, and a Minor in International Studies in Agricultural
and Life Sciences. On graduation, Lauren intends to attain both MS and PhD degrees studying large mammals, with particular interest in large mammalian carnivores. Lauren has acted as a
research technician on various carnivore projects, including studying the population ecology of jaguars in Belize and monitoring wolves in Idaho. Currently Lauren is conducting an Undergraduate Thesis on the dietary habits of bobcats and coyotes in Florida.
